Each year we strive to bring in the most relevant, up to date, informational speakers possible to Manitoba Ag Days. This year is no exception: the program has been finalized for the 2026 show and the depth of knowledge in this list is profound!
We could not put on such a world class speaking event if it were not for our partnerships with FCC, MNP, Manitoba Agriculture, Manitoba Canola Growers Association, Manitoba Crop Alliance and the Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers Association and of course the presenters themselves. Jayden Buchanan, Producer
Jayden was born and raised on a mixed grain and cattle farm near Crystal City, Manitoba. Growing up with a love for all things farming Jayden attended the University of Manitoba and graduated with a diploma in agriculture in the spring of 2016.
After working off farm at a larger mixed grain farm and feedlot for two winters, Jayden returned home to farm full time with his father Dean and grandfather Ken.
Today, Jayden and Dean with help from Ken, Jaydens wife Alyssa, and hired help, manage a moderately sized grain farm with a small pedigree seed business.
As well as a large beef cow/calf operation and backgrounding feedlot.
Jayden has been doing trials with the on-farm network since 2015 and continues to do multiple trials each growing season.
