Join us for a screening of “Deep Rooted”, a documentary exploring the mental health crisis facing agricultural producers across Canada. The film follows four agriculture producers in discussing their mental health and how it relates to farming.
There are an immeasurable number of stressors facing farmers and ranchers across the country, from weather and climate change, through to succession planning and farming legacy.
Through these four agriculture producers, we get a glimpse into how and why this crisis persists in the farming community.
Following the screening, The Do More Agriculture Foundation will lead a panel discussion featuring leading Manitoba producers and experts.
Don’t miss your chance to engage in a meaningful conversation, ask questions, and share your own reflections in a supportive and open environment.
Leave with a deeper understanding of the human side of agriculture.
Thank you to the Manitoba Oat Growers Association for donating oat cookies for all in attendance at the viewing.
