What to look for on Wednesday – Ag Days 2024
Manitoba Ag Days is Canada’s largest indoor farm show and the board and management team is excited to welcome guests to the Keystone Center in Brandon, MB. Kristen Phillips, Manitoba Ag Days General Manager said, “The show highlights the best of all things agriculture! We are ready to welcome our guests each day to our dominant trade show, our exciting complementary speaker program, innovative thinking in our Innovation Showcase entries and an atmosphere second to none. If it has anything to do with Agriculture you will find it at our show!”
Noah Bishop from ADM Fertilizer starts the program in the FCC Theatre on Wednesday, January 17th at 9:30AM as part of the Manitoba Crop Alliance Program. Dr. Derek Brewin discusses grain rail transportation at 10:25am and David Whetter talks tile at 11:20am. The afternoon focuses on Embracing Innovation, beginning at 1:00pm with Matt Yanick discussing retro-fitting existing equipment with today’s technology. The tech focus continues with a precision ag and drones before featured speaker Jim Carroll takes the stage at 3:30pm with a session titled AI in Ag: Transforming the World’s Oldest Profession.
On Wednesday morning the MNP Theatre program begins at 9:30am with Darcy Herauf tackling the question On the Farm or in the Cloud? There are 32 contenders in seven categories, including Agronomics, Animal & Livestock, Agriculture Equipment, Agribusiness Services, Ag Tech, Farm Safety and Farm Built Solutions, sponsored by the 7 publications of Glacier FarmMedia.
