Each year we strive to bring in the most relevant, up to date, informational speakers possible to Manitoba Ag Days. This year is no exception: the program has been finalized for the 2026 show and the depth of knowledge in this list is profound!
We could not put on such a world class speaking event if it were not for our partnerships with FCC, MNP, Manitoba Agriculture, Manitoba Canola Growers Association, Manitoba Crop Alliance and the Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers Association and of course the presenters themselves. Xiben Wang, Plant Pathologist

Xiben Wang, Plant Pathologist, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada @AAFC_Canada Dr. Wang is a plant pathologist at the Morden Research and Development Centre, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. His main research focus is on cereal diseases, mainly Fusarium head blight and leaf spot diseases, as part of collaborative studies with colleagues across Canada.  He is currently involved with research on plant resistance for cereal disease control and developing practical integrated solutions for crop disease management. Dr. Wang also has broad interests in research related to soil microbial diversity, cereal pathogen diagnosis and detection, pathogen virulence and genetic diversity.
