Each year we strive to bring in the most relevant, up to date, informational speakers possible to Manitoba Ag Days. This year is no exception: the program has been finalized for the 2026 show and the depth of knowledge in this list is profound!
We could not put on such a world class speaking event if it were not for our partnerships with FCC, MNP, Manitoba Agriculture, Manitoba Canola Growers Association, Manitoba Crop Alliance and the Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers Association and of course the presenters themselves. Krista Thomas, Vice President of Trade Policy and Seed Innovation

Krista Thomas, Vice President of Trade Policy and Seed Innovation, Canada Grains Council @cdagraincouncil Krista Thomas is the Vice President of Trade Policy and Seed Innovation with the Canada Grains Council. In this capacity Krista has led policy development on issues related to biotechnology and plant breeding innovation. Krista is an active leader in international industry forums such as the International Grain Trade Coalition, and has presented in forums including APEC, the Global LLP Initiative, and WTO. Prior to joining the CGC Krista held various positions with the Canadian Federal Government, including with the Canada-US Regulatory Cooperation Council, and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Krista holds an M.Sc. in Plant Agriculture from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada.
