Each year we strive to bring in the most relevant, up to date, informational speakers possible to Manitoba Ag Days. This year is no exception: the program has been finalized for the 2026 show and the depth of knowledge in this list is profound!
We could not put on such a world class speaking event if it were not for our partnerships with FCC, MNP, Manitoba Agriculture, Manitoba Canola Growers Association, Manitoba Crop Alliance and the Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers Association and of course the presenters themselves. Chuck Penner, Economist

Chuck Penner, Economist, LeftField Commodity Research @leftfieldcr Chuck Penner started LeftField Commodity Research in 2010, providing independent research and analysis for 16 Canadian crop markets in special crops, small grains and oilseeds. LeftField’s services include weekly market analysis and client-specific research projects. Chuck grew up on a family farm in Manitoba’s Red River Valley and has 35 years of experience in the Canadian grain business, including 15 years in various roles at UGG and Agricore United, followed by 5 years at Informa Economics. He has a B.Sc Ag and Diploma in Agriculture from the University of Manitoba.
