What to look for on Thursday – Ag Days 2025

“The first two days of Ag Days 2025 were  filled with dynamic speakers and interactive panel discussions and covered a wide variety of subjects. Looking forward to Thursday’s program, visitors will see a great mix of agronomy, marketing and livestock sessions.

The FCC Theatre program starts on Thursday at 9:30AM when you can join John Heard who is discussing ROI and Balancing Your Nutrient Profile in Soils. At 10:25AM Dr. Tom Bruulsema’s session is Enhancing Your Fertilizer Efficiency and Dr. John Gavloski rounds out the morning with a session about your weather and insects.  You won’t want to leave early, because the afternoon sessions move between farm-scale and having a global perspective! Beginning at 9:30AM there is a full morning of sessions that dig deep into soil, roots and all things happening under the surface of your fields. In the afternoon the focus shifts to “Live”stock Lessons. The afternoon begins at 1:00PM with the Do’s and Don’ts of Banding Calves, followed by Digging into Cattle Market Data and Going Green with Implants.
