Manitoba Ag Days Gives Back Deadline Approaching


Manitoba Ag Days continues its decade long tradition of investing in rural communities and agriculture
education through the Ag Days Gives Back program. Over the last ten years Manitoba Ag Days has given
back over $27,000 annually to community organizations throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan. This
represents a commitment of over $347,500 to rural facilities and services.


The deadline for community fire departments and Assiniboine Community College Agri Business
students to submit applications is November 15th with the grants and scholarships awarded at the 2023
show in January.


“Our visitors and exhibitors come from a wide geographical area and the goal of the fund is to be able to
share some of the show’s success by contributing to their communities.” stated Kristen Phillips,
Manitoba Ag Days General Manager. Eight, $2000 community safety grants will be awarded to rural fire
departments at the 2023 show. If your community fire department has a project that is looking for
funding please apply.

The recipients of the 2022 Ag Days Gives Back Scholarships of $1000 each were:

U of M’s Diploma Scholarship – George J. Meggison
U of M’s Degree Scholarship– Nyla Hacault


Manitoba Ag Days will also be providing the Education and Leadership Grant in the amount of $10,000
once again to Agriculture in the Classroom – Manitoba.


Manitoba Ag Days show is an annual three-day exposition of agriculture production expertise,
technology and equipment that attracts exhibitors and visitors from across Canada and the United States
of America held at the Keystone Centre in Brandon Manitoba. The 2023 show dates are Tuesday,
January 17 – Thursday, January 19.

Manitoba Ag Days Speaker Line Up


Manitoba Ag Days is approaching quickly and the program committee has been hard at work putting
together a world class agricultural speaking line up. “Our program is 99% confirmed for the 2023 show.
AND WOW; what a lineup we have! The industry is going to have a hard time choosing between speakers
this year as we are back running two theatres for all 3 days of the show. There are over 60 speakers
confirmed to speak. ” stated Kristen Phillips, General Manager, Manitoba Ag Days
