Charley Sprenger, Project Leader, PAMI @PAMI_Machinery

Charley Sprenger is an Ag-Research Engineer at PAMI in Manitoba. She leads various projects involving the agronomics and logistics of farm production activities in order to provide Canadian farmers with valuable research data and tools to help make decisions on their farms. Grain storage, harvest losses, energy efficiency, and water management are just some of the areas she has been involved in over the last 5 years.  Charley received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Biological Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. In her time-off she is helping raise cattle on the family farm near Rivers.

Jonothan is the Vice-Chair of the Manitoba Crop Alliance. 

Chris Beaudry, Former Humboldt Broncos Coach, CRB Wellness @ChrisBeaudry9

Chris Beaudry was born in Edmonton and raised in Calgary and St Front Sk. He’s a father of 3 young girls, husband to his wife Richelle, and a 4th generation farmer. Chris was an assistant coach with the 2017/18 Humboldt Broncos, who were tragically involved in the bus crash that killed 16 players and staff. Since then, Chris has been heavily involved in the field of mental health and healing. He has trained under Dr. Gabor Mate, Don Miguel Ruiz, Lama Sonia Potie, and many others.

Tyler Wist, Research Scientist – Field Crops Entomologist, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada @AAFC_Canada @TylerWist1

Dr. Tyler Wist is Research Scientist in Field Crop Entomology at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Saskatoon Research and Development Centre where he’s been working on various aspects of crop-destroying insects such as flea beetles in canola.

J.P. Gervais, Vice President & Chief Economist, Farm Credit Canada @FCCAgriculture @jpgervais

J.P. Gervais is Vice-President and Chief Economist at Farm Credit Canada (FCC). His insights help guide strategy, monitor risks and identify opportunities in the economic environment. In addition to acting as a FCC spokesperson on economic matters, J.P. provides commentary on the agriculture industry through videos and the FCC Economics blog. Prior to joining FCC in 2010, J.P. was a professor of agricultural economics at North Carolina State University and Laval University. J.P. is a Past-President of the Canadian Agricultural Economics Society. He obtained his Ph.D. in economics from Iowa State University in 1999.

Evan Shout, Chartered Professional Accountant, Agricultural Consultant, Hebert Group @EvanShout

Evan Shout is the president and co-founder of Maverick Ag, a business consulting and risk management firm in Western Canada. He also sits as the president, co-founder, and lead coach at Farmer Coach, an education and coaching program for primary producers in both Canada and the US. These organizations fall under the Hebert Group of companies that also includes Hebert Grain Ventures, a 30,000-acre grain and oilseed operation in southeast Saskatchewan, where Evan is the Chief Financial Officer. In his past career, Evan worked as a CPA with MNP, an agriculture accounting firm in Canada, specializing in large scale primary producer grain operations. He is passionate about improving farm business with a focus on human resources management, technology, data analysis, and financial and operational risk practices. Our farm’s legacy is to leave the land, financial statements, community, and industry in a better state generation after generation. Our legacy is to help you do the same for yours.
