Anthony Parker is the Commissioner of the Plant Breeders’ Rights Office, located in the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. He was appointed to the position in 2014, and given the mandate of advancing legislative changes to Canada`s Plant Breeders` Rights (PBR) Act. Anthony is also Canada’s head of delegation to the International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (known as UPOV), and currently serves as Chair of its Legal and Administrative Committee. Prior to working for the CFIA, Anthony worked for many years at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada`s corn breeding program and has a Master of Agriculture degree (plant breeding and genetics). Anthony was raised on a farm in eastern Ontario and has been passionate about agriculture all of his life.

Dennis Lange is the Provincial Pulse Specialist with Manitoba Agriculture. He has been involved in the pulse & soybean industry for the last 20 years working with Peas, edible beans, and soybeans. Dennis is also an avid photographer and enjoys teaching photography in his spare time. Dennis is also known for his collection of almost 130 Hawaiian shirts and counting.

Cam Dahl , President of Cereals Canada. Cam has significant experience in Canadian agriculture. Immediately prior to joining Cereals Canada Cam held the post of General Manager of Manitoba Beef Producers. Cam has also served as a Commissioner of the Canadian Grain Commission (Appointed by the Governor in Council) from 2007-10. He has also held the positions of Manager of Government Relations and Policy Development, Agricore United, Executive Director of the Grain Growers of Canada and served on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
Cam has served as the Chairperson of the Technical Advisory Panel requested by the Minister of International Cooperation to recommend projects for funding under the Canada Fund for African Climate Resilience. He also serves on the Advisory Committee for the Scaling Seeds and Technologies Partnership in Africa and is the past-President of the Canadian Agriculture Hall of Fame.
Cam holds a BSA and M. Sc. in agriculture economics from the University of Manitoba.

Tammy hails from a small farm near Napinka, MB. She earned a B. Sc. (Crop Protection) from the University of Manitoba, then worked with the Manitoba Pulse Growers Association and Manitoba Agriculture. She has recently returned to Manitoba after 8 years in Alberta where she worked for private industry as well as the Alberta Pulse Growers Association.

I am an agronomist with Pioneer Hi-Bred in eastern Manitoba where I support the Pioneer seed dealers and the growers they work with agronomic information and product knowledge of the Pioneer Hi-Bred portfolio. My previous roles in the industry have provided me with knowledge in soybean product development and partnering with growers to work with them through their production practices and providing agronomic support.

My wife and I live on an acreage just outside of Miami, Manitoba where we are involved in the family farm.

Tammy originally hails from a small farm near Napinka, MB. She earned a B. Sc. (Crop Protection) from the University of Manitoba, where she also taught Weed Identification labs and studied multiple herbicide resistant wild oats. She has returned to Manitoba after 8 years in Alberta where she worked for private industry as well as the Alberta Pulse Growers Association. Prior to that she had worked for Manitoba Agriculture as a Diversification Specialist and for the Manitoba Pulse Growers Association.
