Sharon is a Farm Management Specialist with Manitoba Agriculture. She has a strong financial and lending background that was garnered by working as an agricultural lender. She has worked across western Canada and has had the pleasure of working with, and learning from a diverse portfolio of agricultural clients.

Currently a member of Manitoba Agriculture’s Farm Enterprise Management Team, Darren has shown a passion for everything agricultural for all of his life. Born and raised on a grain and cattle farm in Manitoba’s Interlake, Darren was previously involved with agricultural finance and now works with agricultural producers and industry with all matters farm management.
Adrienne Ivey is passionate about agriculture. She ranches with her husband and children in East Central Saskatchewan. She is committed to sharing her farm story with people who have questions about where their food comes from. She is a TEDx speaker, as well as blogger and writer.
Jason Peters is an Organic Agronomist for Kroeker Farms in Winkler Manitoba. Since starting with the company 5 years ago, Jason’s role has evolved into growing specialty organic grain crops such as hemp and edible beans, managing green manures, and providing support for organic potato and onion crops. Jason’s background includes an Agribusiness degree from the University of Manitoba, research work for DuPont Pioneer, and significant family farm experience growing up. When he’s not working he enjoys running, camping with his family and autocross racing. Jason lives in Altona Manitoba.
Brian grew up on a dairy farm south of Brandon in the small community of Boissevain. Turned out Sonja was an influential drawing card that eventually brought Brian to the city but not without his passion to want to own land someday. After a number of years in the construction field, Brian & Sonja purchased the farm just west of Brandon in 1990 and began a beef operation known today as Circle H Farms. With two additions, Thomas in 1991 and Kristelle in 1993 it became a true family operation using management practices common to the industry. With challenges and changes along the way Circle H Farms now manages with the mentality of “the soil comes first”.
JoAnne Buth is the CEO of the Canadian International Grains Institute. She has worked in private industry and government and was most recently a Senator.
