Farmers are the backbone of society, yet they make up less than 2% of the ever-growing population. Niagara College Research and Innovation’s Crop Portal was created for uploading, cleaning, analyzing, and visualization of farm related data including: yield, soil, fertilizer, seed, and topographic data. The goal of this web-based software is to provide an easy to use set of tools to analyze and visualize yield and other farm related data. The Crop Portal intakes various farm data (soil samples, combine data, fertilizer, topographic) and provides a suite and algorithms for cleaning, analyzing, visualization. Currently the Crop Portal is open to farmers, consultants, and researchers to upload and analyze their data.
