The annual Investor’s Showcase features 17 new inventions and 17 new products. “It has been extremely challenging to declare a winner” stated Dave Laudin, Judge and Board Co – Chair.  “We encourage everyone to take time to have a look at these great New Inventions and understand how they can positively impact their farming operation.”  said Brad Crammond, Co-Chair Manitoba Ag Days.

This year’s show topped the number of new inventions and new products. Manitoba Ag Day’s strives to be at the forefront of new technology and would like to thank the following candidates for their efforts in bringing new technology to the industry.

In 2017 we started the Farm Safety Feature for the first time.  There were 8 participants showcasing a farm safety message at the show.

Manitoba Hydro was the winner of this feature for 2017.  This was their key messaging:

Over the past year there were 90 reported incidents of farm equipment contacting overhead power lines in Manitoba. Farm injuries can have devastating effects, both emotionally and economically. Learn about Manitoba Hydro’s farm safety programs to minimize hazards for you, your family and farm workers.

“It is our 40th Anniversary and we want to celebrate” says Media Coordinator, Andrea Guthrie. “And what better way to celebrate then to bring in David James AND Chad Brownlee.”

“Not only do we want to thank the exhibitors and patrons that attend our show year in and year out but we want to thank the City of Brandon and the surrounding communities that help to make our show a success.   Manitoba Ag Days would not be able to celebrate 40 years of Farm Show Excellence if it wasn’t for all of those involved. We are Canada’s Largest Indoor Farm Show and we are honoured to host this prestigious event in the Keystone Centre in Brandon, Manitoba” says Kristen Phillips, General Manager for Manitoba Ag Days.
