2017 Best New Products

First Place

SeedMasterBooth 312 Manitoba Room

SeedMaster’s new Tunable Tower offers farmers new access to metering and distribution data and a way to respond to it.  Another SeedMaster advantage to make sure you’re making the most out of your input investment and growing the best crop you can.   Working in conjunction with the XeedSystem, individual seeds are actually counted as they’re distributed down they’re individual runs.  The Tunable Tower has a centre cone that can be adjusted to balance product flow if variances are noted on the tablet screen in the cab of the tractor.  All of this means that valuable seed and fertilizer are properly and efficiently distributed and placed in the ground.  Tunable Tower technology means a smarter use of the inputs, a consistent and rigorous stand, and more money in the wallet. We’ve got an active demo of the Tunable Tower system in our booth.  Stop by for a demo!

Since it was our 40th Anniversary we encourged every exhibitor to bring something nostalgic and have it on display in their booth to commemorate 40 years of Ag Show Excellence.  The top 3 winners will have the option to receive a cash prize of $1000, $500 and $250 respectively.  All of the winners were told that if they choose to donate their winnings to a local charity that Manitoba Ag Days would match their contribution.  EVERY WINNER CHOOSE TO DONATE THEIR WINNINGS!

1st Place went to Versatile for bringing BIG ROY to the show.  They choose to donate their winnings to the Manitoba Ag Museaum and Manitoba Ag Days matched it, therefore the Manitoba Ag Museum received $2000.00

2nd Place went to Ellis Seeds for their 1899 Weed Guide. They choose to donate their winnings to Agriculture in the Classroom – Manitoba and Manitoba Ag Days matched it, therefore AITC-MB received $1000.00

3rd Place went to One Step Automation for their Old Grain Cleaner.  They choose to donate their winnings to Canadian Food Grains Bank and Manitoba Ag Days matched it, therefore the Canadian Food Grains Bank received $500.00

Thank you to all the exhibitors who participated; you really helped to make our 40th Anniversary one to remember.
