Each year we strive to bring in the most relevant, up to date, informational speakers possible to Manitoba Ag Days. This year is no exception: the program has been finalized for the 2024 show and the depth of knowledge in this list is profound!
We could not put on such a world class speaking event if it were not for our partnerships with FCC, MNP, Manitoba Agriculture, Manitoba Canola Growers Association, Manitoba Crop Alliance and the Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers Association and of course the presenters themselves. Lorne Grieger, Agricultural Engineer

Lorne Grieger is the Project Manager for Agricultural Research and Development at PAMI in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. Lorne’s passion for agriculture began with his family farm roots in the Swan Valley. He followed is dad’s advice for additional training and obtained a degree in agricultural engineering from the University of Manitoba. After exploring the engineering consulting and pharmaceutical sectors, Lorne returned to a career in agriculture with PAMI. His broad range of experiences over his 15 years at PAMI include research and development of agricultural equipment; evaluation of manure treatment and bioenergy systems; and research in grain harvesting and storage techniques. PAMI is an applied research, development, and testing organization serving members of the agricultural community. PAMI has a history of independent third-party farm equipment evaluation and development, that has spurred technological advances in traditional and new farming practice.
