Greg Bartley, On-Farm Specialist

Photo of Greg Bartley
Greg was raised in Roland, MB on a small grain farm and obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Manitoba majoring in Agronomy. After graduation, he travelled to Australia to experience the harvest down under before starting his master’s at the University of Manitoba. Working with Dr. Yvonne Lawley, Greg’s studies have focused on identifying the best residue management practices prior to growing soybean in Manitoba. During his time at the U of M, he gained experience with on-farm testing by incorporating his residue management work into trials located on operational farms. This experience led into a position with Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers where he currently coordinates their On-Farm Network.
