We could not put on such a world class speaking event if it were not for our partnerships with FCC, MNP, Manitoba Agriculture, Manitoba Canola Growers Association, Manitoba Crop Alliance and the Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers Association and of course the presenters themselves. We thank you for partnering with us for the 2024 Show!

Florian Hagmann, Farmer
Florian came to Canada when he was three years old when his parents moved here to operate a farm. As he grew up he knew he wanted to farm and eventually he took over part of his parents farm. Since then he has grown the business to 10000 acres of grains, oilseeds and pulses. Each year he seeds roughly 4500 acres of Canola each year with a target yield of 65 bushels per acre. Some years he's over that and some year's he's under but the point he stresses is that each year he learns what works, what doesn't and what he could do differently. Florian has been successful in growing over 100 bu per acre of Canola! He likes to learn from other farmers as well as share his thoughts on why doing the Little things matters! Florian farms with his wife Sharon and five children at Birch Hills, Saskatchewan.
