Daryl Ritchison, Interim Director of the North Dakota Agricultural Weather Network (NDAWN), will take a look back at the weather events of the 1930s through the voices of those who lived through the worst drought in the Great Plains in the past 140 years. Daryl’s presentation will examine how land use changes made the drought even worse and how we may not be well prepared for the next dry spell.
