In his presentation on “Canola Market Forecast” Thomas Mielke will highlight the growing dependence of consumers worldwide on Canadian canola. In the world crop season 2016/17 Canadian farmers will benefit from production shortfalls of rapeseed and canola in the European Union, Ukraine and China. Latest supply & demand estimates will be presented for the key countries. Thomas Mielke, who comes to us from Hamburg, Germany will also highlight the supply, demand and price outlook of soybeans and products as well as of palm oil and other commodities, which will have an impact on the price outlook for Canadian canola. To conclude, Thomas will share a tentative view for the 2017/18 season.
