Manitoba Ag Days Gives Back Deadline Approaching

Manitoba Ag Days would like to help your community projects become a reality. This year, we have decided to make a change in our community giving program for the 2021 Intake. With everything going on in the world we would like to support the communities where our exhibitors and patrons live so we have decided to open our grant money up to ONLY Licensed Early Learning Centres for the 2021 show. Since the program began we have had several early learning centres apply for the funding and so we want to spread out our impact by supporting 15 centres this year.  Please apply early and let us know how your centre would use the $1000. There are no limitations to the use of the funds – it can be used for upgrades, infrastructure, supplies, equipment, artificial turf, windows, play structures, etc… We know how difficult it is to get funding for ELC and so we want to support you and everything that you do!   We will still be giving away our 3 scholorships as well as our education grant to Agriculture in the Classroom- Manitoba in 2021.

The deadline for licensed, non- profit, early learning centres and Assiniboine Community College Agriculture students to submit applications is November 15th with grants being awarded in 2021.

“The goal of the fund is to be able to share some of the show’s success with the rural communities where our patrons and exhibitors live. We have had an excellent response over the past years and know how hard this year has been on everyone.  We are always eager to help projects in our local communities.” stated Kristen Phillips, Manitoba Ag Days General Manager.

To date Manitoba Ag Days has “given back” over $28,000 annually to a total well over $288,000 to community organization throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
