Graduated 1994 Minnedosa Collegiate Began ag career driving NH3 truck, floaters and sprayers in 1995 Graduated Agribusiness at ACC in 2001. Agronomist and Agro Manager for Coop in Neepawa for 15 years, then to Nutrien in Carberry as a Crop Production Advisor for the next 5 years, Started my own Agronomy business in fall of 2024 looking after approx 50,000ac in the westman area. other info: CKC and JKC registered breeder of Neapolitan Mastiffs here in Canada and Jamaica where I also reside for part of the year.

Curtis works as the Agronomy Manager at Bourgault Industries based in St. Brieux Saskatchewan. He manages the Bourgault 2100 acre research farm and organizes the field scale, replicated fertilizer placement trials. The information gathered is used to assist in equipment design and testing, but also helps in providing recommendations for agronomists and producers for safely applying their fertilizer and seed.

Michael Poole, CPA, CA, is a Partner and the Tax Leader for MNP’s Southern Manitoba region. Working out of the Brandon office, Michael delivers comprehensive corporate and personal tax services, helping clients stay compliant and reduce their overall tax requirements. Michael provides specialty tax strategies to clients of all sizes and in a wide range of industries, including agriculture and oil and gas. He is adept at helping business owners with structure reorganizations, estate and succession planning and family trusts. In addition, he advises on and assists with complex negotiations involving the Canada Revenue Agency to achieve audit resolution. Skilled at explaining complicated tax issues so that clients can make informed decisions, Michael draws on more than 15 years of experience and knowledge to deliver creative, practical solutions to unique business challenges. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2005.

He is one of the world’s most cited scholars in food supply chain management, food value chains and traceability with over 775 published peer-reviewed journal articles.
