Neil Townsend has done one thing during his career in agriculture: write market commentary for farmers. He has worked at the Canadian Wheat Board, Cargill, CWB 2, and G3 in this capacity. For the last 3.5 years, he has worked at FarmLink as the Chief Market Analyst. Neil works with his team to make sense of the markets and advise farmer clients on timing of sales and marketing strategy. Before embarking on his Canadian ag career, Neil spent three years trying to buffer Northeastern Thai farmers from information disequilibrium. He lives in Winnipeg with his wife and three sons.

Tommy graduated from Texas Tech University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science, and a Master of Science Degree in Crop Physiology in 1992. He has worked in the agricultural industry since that time for Deltapine, Dekalb Genetics, Monsanto, and CoreAgri in various roles which include sorghum breeding, research agronomy, and micronutrient formulation. He is presently the Vice President of Product Development and Technical Services for Nachurs Alpine Solutions, with headquarters located in Marion, Ohio. As part of this role, he is tasked with finding new ingredients and/or combinations of existing ones to continue the upward trend of crop yields, but at the same time, balancing that with environmental stewardship and sustainability. Tommy currently lives in Lubbock, Texas with his wife (Yvonne) and their 5 children (Kristen, Tatum, Matt, Tucker, Turner) ranging in age from 24 to 15.

David Kaminski is no specialist. Nor does he have all the answers in his field. What he does have is a broad perspective on pest management in the field crops grown in western Canada and a deep interest in agronomy related to crop production. David has worked as an extension plant pathologist in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta since 1989.
