Peter Manness is a Farm Management Consultant with MNP, based out of Brandon MB. He works with producers throughout Western Manitoba and Eastern Saskatchewan providing farm analysis and consulting services. Peter has been a P.Ag since 2004 after completing a BSc in Agribusiness at the University of Manitoba. He grew up on a mixed farm near Domain, MB.

Ingrid Kristjanson is a Farm Production Extension Specialist-Crops, with the Primary Agriculture Branch of Manitoba Agriculture. She joined Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives as Ag Rep in Morris, in 2002. She recently made the move to the Teulon office, covering the Interlake area. She previously worked with Cargill AgHorizons as consulting agronomist, and with Simplot Soilbuilders as sales agronomist. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Manitoba, is a member of the Manitoba Institute of Agrologists and is a Certified Crop Adviser and member of the Prairie Provinces CCA Board.

Fred farms in the SW corner of MB near Reston. He operates a seed farm with his family as well as a small cow herd. He has served on boards with Canterra Seeds, MPGA,WGRF,CGC and Sunrise CU.

Dr. Kris Nichols is the founder and principal scientist of KRIS (Knowledge for Regeneration and Innovation in Soil) Systems. She was Rodale Institute’s Chief Scientist from 2014-2017 and a Research (Soil) Microbiologist with USDA for 14 years. Kris has B.S. degrees in Plant Biology and in Genetics and Cell Biology, M.S. in Environmental Microbiology, and PhD in Soil Science. She was raised on a 640-acre Farm in SW Minnesota.

Mark Keating is a farmer, pedigreed seed grower and co-owner of Keating Seed Farms Inc. Mark has been farming since 1992 and is a graduate of the Ag Diploma program at University of Manitoba. In addition to farming, Mark is active in his progressive hometown of Russell MB by serving on several volunteer boards and committees. Mark and his wife Claudia also own and operate a specialty coffeehouse in Russell – Bin 22 Coffee Co.

Doug is an experienced business lawyer who practises primarily in the areas of Privacy and Data Protection, Cyber Security, Technology law. He is a partner at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman and a founding member of TDS’ Privacy and Data Protection Practice Group. He advises clients on privacy, data protection and cyber-security matters, including legal obligations, compliance with provincial, federal and international privacy laws, risk minimization and management strategies, creation and implementation of privacy, data protection and cyber security policies, procedures and practices, data breach reporting and notification matters, incidence response planning, external vendor/service provider risk mitigation, including contract review, and cyber insurance, including policy review. Doug’s Technology practice focuses on the negotiation and drafting of technology related agreements including service agreements and software-as-a-service agreements.
