NEW PRODUCTS FEATURE

Manitoba Ag Days is a premier agricultural trade show with success attributed to keeping the show current. Exhibitors displaying new products play a key role in this success. To enhance this aspect Manitoba Ag Days offers the New Products Feature. Exhibitors may opt to pay a fee of $100 to participate in this feature (in addition to the regular display fees). Manitoba Ag Days will provide the exhibitor with a New Product Sign which will include the year and the Ag Days logo. Exhibitors may then use the sign to display at their booth. Exhibitors participating in this feature will also receive a special listing in the show guide.

In order to qualify for this feature the new product must be approved by Manitoba Ag Days. To participate exhibitors will need to check the appropriate area on the exhibitor entry form and submit their payment. A description of the new product must accompany the entry form. To qualify the product must be unique and new to the Manitoba market within the past 12 months.

Manitoba Ag Days will make the final determination as to which products qualify for the New Products Feature. The $100 fee will be refunded if the product fails to qualify.

BEST NEW PRODUCT AWARD

In conjunction with the New Products Feature, Manitoba Ag Days will offer the Best New Product Award. Eligible exhibitors participating in the New Products Feature will have the product judged for the award.

The award will recognize products that are new to the market with attributes that excel in the judging criteria. Two awards will be featured with a first and second place. Judging criteria will be based on practicality, appearance, ease of use, implied value, innovation, and safety of the product being displayed. The overall usefulness of the product to agriculture will also be considered.
