MANITOBA AG DAYS CONGRATULATES WINNERS OF
INVENTOR'S SHOWCASE COMPETITION

| First place in the Inventor’s Showcase went
to CropCam of Stony Mountain, Manitoba. This fledgling company
has developed an agriculture model plane outfitted with a 5 megapixel sony camera to take high resolution digital photos
which can diagnose nutrient deficiencies in fields. Project
Director Lisa Shaw says field tests are currently underway in
Manitoba and international market for the CropCam is being
developed. |

The second place prize was presented to Gil Cornelsen of G&A
Enterprises of Rosenort, Manitoba for the Mini Dirt Scoop.
The scoop is designed for precise digging in confined areas
that heavy equipment can’t access as well as leveling surface
areas and hauling away the unwanted material.

| Inventor's Showcase is held every year at
Manitoba Ag Days to encourage individuals and companies to develop products that will assist farmers in achieving greater efficiency in their farming operations.
Manitoba Ag Days is Canada's largest indoor farm show with an annual attendance of more than
30,000. Next year's show dates are January 16 to 18, 2007. |
